Join us for Durham University Women in Tech's inaugural hackathon, DUWiT Hacks!

Running over 24-hours, DUWiT Hacks is a project creation competition, bringing together 150 students from underrepresented groups to collaborate and use tech to solve real world problems.

Who can partake in this event?
If you identify as part of an underrepresented group in tech, such as women or non-binary individuals, we'd love to have you join as a hacker!
If you don't identify as part of an underrepresented group in tech, we'd still love to have you at our event as a volunteer or mentor

What time is the event taking place
Registration will open at 9:30 am on Saturday and we aim to end the event by 4pm on Sunday 2nd March


I've never coded before - can I still join
Yes! This is an entirely beginner friendly event, and you'll have support from mentors and your peers to learn some new skills and build a project you're proud of. Enthusiasm is half the job!
