If you choose to submit your CV for this event, please note:

Your CV may include personal data such as your name, contact details, education history, employment history and any other information you choose to include.
Your CV will be shared with DUWiT Hacks' Sponsors and Partners for the purpose of potential recruitment and networking opportunities.
The lawful basis for processing is your consent. By submitting your CV, you agree to it being shared for this purpose.
DUWiT Hacks and Durham Students' Union will not retain copies of CVs beyond the event unless explicitly stated. All copies will be securely deleted within 7 days of the event.

Where is the event taking place?

Mathematical Sciences & Computer Science Building, Durham University, Upper Mountjoy Campus, Stockton Road, DH1 3LE

What time does the event begin?

Registration opens at 9:30 on Saturday 7th March, and the closing ceremony finishes around 17:00 on Sunday 8th March.

Can I attend if I have no coding experience?

Of course! DUWiT Hacks is for participants of all levels. We provide HackPacks: tutorials and examples of specific skills you can use in your projects.

Is food being provided?

Meals, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions and avoid bringing nuts or peanuts.

What do I need to bring?

A valid student ID (or other legal ID), your laptop and charger, and anything else you need for comfort.

I don’t attend Durham University. Can I still attend?

Yes! Anyone who is a student or graduated within the last year may attend.

I am a man but I want to be involved. What are my options?

How large can teams be?

Teams can be up to four people.

What if I don’t have a team?

We’ll host team‑building events before and during the hackathon; feel free to arrive solo.
